According to the Charter of Makkah, Islamophobia comes from lack of understanding about the true meaning of Islam. The MWL seeks to dispel these misconceptions by holding educational events and conferences worldwide.

HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with the US Deputy Secretary of State for Arabian Peninsula Affairs, Mr. Daniel Benaim, US Embassy Chargé d'Affairs, Ms. Martina Strong, and the US embassy's political official, Ms. Elizabeth Norman. A number of issues of common interest were discussed.

As a follower of Islam, American basketball player Shaquille O’Neal stressed that he owes to God everything he has.

This afternoon HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa received the Miguel Moratinos, the High Representative of the UNAOC.
Mr. Moratinos praised Dr. Al-Issa for "spreading dialogue among followers of religions, strengthening social integration, and combating hatred and hatred of strangers."
 

In 2020, discrimination against American Muslims increased by 9% compared to the year before. HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa emphasizes that hatred based on religion can be tackled by promoting shared values.

“The Muslim World League is keen to deepen its relations with the Kingdom of Malaysia, where Muslims are respected and appreciated. Malaysia provides an excellent example of tolerance and coexistence in religiously and ethnically diverse countries.”

HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa received the Malaysian Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Zulkifl Muhammad Al-Bakri and a high-ranking delegation. The delegation discussed issues of common interest to the Muslim community in Malaysia and around the world.

HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa welcomed the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative, Dr. Teng Cheng Ping to the MWL office in Riyadh. They discussed a number of issues of common concern.

HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with  HE Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. During the meeting they discussed a number of issues of common interest.

HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa welcomed Bisera Tur kovic, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers & Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the MWL. She appreciated Dr. Al-Issa's visit to Srebrenica last year & his role in promoting religious & civil peace.
