H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa welcomed H.E.

As part of his visit to the state of Texas to participate in the Global Faith Forum as the guest of honor and keynote speaker, H.E. Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with the Chairwoman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Kay Granger.

During his visit to the U.S. to launch the Forum of American Islamic Leaders, Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with the U.S. Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, & Human Rights, Mrs. Uzra Zeya, who praised H.E. for his efforts in promoting coexistence & global harmony. 

The Speaker of Parliament and the former PM of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. Chuan Leekpai, received H.E. Dr. Mohammad Alissa. He praised H.E.'s lecture at King's University in Bangkok and followed up on its details. The meeting was attended by other Parliament leaders. 

H.E. Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with the head of the Buddhist leadership in Thailand, who expressed his great appreciation for the visit. The meeting exemplified Islam's acceptance of human diversity and the right for that diversity to exist.

H.E. Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with the Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Zahir. Dr. Al-Issa also visited the Islamic Center in Male, and was briefed on its activities and most prominent works. 

In the presence of the President & Vice President of the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Dr. #Mohammad Alissa gave a lecture on ways to combat extremism & terrorism intellectually & electronically. It was attended by Parliamentary members, the police & national defense officials.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Alissa joined the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Khaleel, while the two sides held a joint press conference on the most important topics of the visit
