The Muslim World League Condemns the Continuous Horrific Killings by the Israeli Occupation Government Forces against the Palestinian People

The Muslim World League (MWL) condemns, in the strongest terms, the continuous horrific killings committed by the Israeli occupation government forces against the Palestinian people. This includes the ongoing targeting of the tents housing unarmed displaced Palestinians in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 40 individuals and injuries to dozens, predominantly children and women.
In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced the persistent violations by the Israeli occupation government of all international and humanitarian laws, resolutions, and norms, which are occurring in full view of the world. Dr. Al-Issa described the worsening humanitarian catastrophe facing the Palestinian people as a flagrant challenge to international laws, norms, and the global calls for the protection of innocent lives. He emphasized that there are no justifiable reasons for this barbarism and severe humanitarian tragedy, stemming solely from a mentality of challenge, arrogance, and revenge against innocent lives, and noted that the continued escalation and complexity of this tragedy hinders the resolution of the Palestinian issue and peace in the region.
His Eminence urged the international community to intervene urgently to halt these ongoing massacres, confront the barbarism of systematic killing, and end the humanitarian catastrophe that the Palestinian people are enduring.
