Statement from the Muslim World League:

Muslim World League Condemns Israeli Minister's Statement on Establishing a Synagogue at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Makkah:

The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemns the statement by a minister of the Israeli occupation government advocating for the establishment of a synagogue within Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced the barbaric statements amid the Israeli occupation government's ongoing aggression against Islamic sanctities.

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa warned of the dangers posed by the occupation government's persistent violations of all international and humanitarian laws and norms, its disregard for the historical and legal status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the provocation of the sentiments of Muslims around the world.

Dr. Al-Issa stressed the urgent necessity for the international community to respond immediately to the call to halt these humanitarian and legal violations, and to end the systematic crimes that the occupation government persists in committing against innocent civilians.
