Statement from the Muslim World League

Makkah:

The Muslim World League condemns the terrorist attack that targeted the headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education in the Republic of Somalia.

In a statement by the General Secretariat of the League, His Excellency its Secretary General, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced this criminal act, which violates all religious and human laws and norms, reiterating the position of the League and the entire Islamic world, rejecting and condemning extremism, violence, and terrorism in all its forms and causes. The MWL supports all efforts to confront this ideology and reduce the brutal crimes generated by it.

On behalf of the Muslim World League and its international councils, bodies and assemblies, Dr. Al-Issa offered his full solidarity with dear Somalia in its war against terrorism, and against all that threatens its security and stability, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and people of Somalia, asking God Almighty to bless the injured with a speedy recovery, and protect everyone from all evil.
