Statement from the Muslim World League

Makkah:
The Muslim World League condemns the terrorist attack that targeted military barracks of the armed forces of Djibouti, leaving a number of deaths and injuries.
 
This came in a statement by the General Secretariat of the MWL, in which His Excellency the Secretary General, President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced this criminal act, which violates all religious and human laws and norms, reiterating the position of the MWL and the entire Islamic world, rejecting extremism, violence and terrorism in all forms. The MWL is making efforts to confront this ideology and reduce the brutal crimes generated by it.
 
On behalf of the Muslim World League, international councils, bodies and assemblies, Dr. Al-Issa offered full solidarity with the Republic of Djibouti, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government and dear people of Djibouti; asking God Almighty to bless the deceased with his vast mercy, dwell them in paradise, and to grant a speedy recovery to the injured, and to protect Djibouti from all evil.
