The Muslim World League has received a number of letters strongly condemning the terrorist crime committed by the Houthi militia, which, in its hostility toward Allah and His Messenger (PBUH), targeted Makkah, the Madinah Region, and other cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affecting civilians and civilian objects. The letters were sent by Muslim leaders, bodies, academies, and councils—in their individual capacities and as independent entities—expressing their positions grounded in Islamic law and their sentiments of solidarity. These included fatwa institutions, collectively followed by hundreds of millions of Muslims in Islamic countries and countries with Muslim minorities.
They noted that these attacks had shaken the conscience of more than two billion Muslims and that the sacred precincts of the Two Holy Mosques are protected by an impregnable barrier, before which Allah has repelled everyone who has sought to violate them. They also affirmed their complete confidence in the Kingdom’s trustworthy leadership and strong capabilities to repel anyone who wickedly seeks to violate this secure sanctuary.
