President of Nigeria Receives the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League
Abuja:
H.E. Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, received His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, at the State House in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
The president commended the MWL’s initiative for social peace in West Africa, affirming his full support for the “Abuja Declaration” and its action plan, implementation programs, and coordinating body for joint cooperation.
For his part, His Excellency expressed his appreciation to President Tinubu for his patronage of the MWL’s initiative conference in Abuja, which was attended by religious leaders in all their diversity across West Africa.
