The Muslim World League (MWL) has welcomed the significant decision made by the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Spain, and the Republic of Ireland to formally recognize the State of Palestine.
In an official statement issued, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stated that this decision represents a pivotal shift in global awareness of the Palestinian people's fundamental right to self-determination and statehood. He commended the responsible and honorable stance of the aforementioned nations and urged other countries to emulate this just and important action in support of the human and legal rights of the Palestinian people.
