Statement from the Muslim World League regarding “the inadmissibility of Hajj without a permit”

Statement from the Muslim World League:
Makkah:
The Muslim World League has expressed great appreciation for the statement issued by the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The statement, reinforced by Sharia evidence, confirms that performing Hajj without a permit is impermissible and constitutes a sin.
In a statement from the General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, confirmed that this extensive statement provides a legal basis for addressing the unfortunate behaviors of some individuals. Such behaviors have harmed pilgrims who complied with the rules and placed a burden on the regulatory bodies. These bodies are making significant efforts and harnessing all their capabilities to serve and accommodate the guests of Allah at the highest levels.
Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the importance for the guests of Allah to be aware of the contents of the Council's statement, which stresses the necessity of adhering to Hajj procedures for the best interest of the pilgrims, especially regarding their safety, and providing equal opportunities to perform Hajj, based on the capacity of the Hajj area.
On behalf of the MWL’s global bodies, councils, and assemblies, His Eminence extended his thanks and gratitude to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. May Allah protect them for the care they provide for the guests of Allah, ensuring that pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease and reassurance as part of the service to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
