Alongside Dr. Al-Issa's invitation to serve as this year's guest of honor, the Legislative Dialogue was presided over by His Majesty the King of Spain, with the presence of senior human rights activists, legislative and ministerial leaders, and presidents of constitutional councils and courts from Europe, Central, and South America.
In Madrid, the World Jurist Association hosted Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa for a keynote lecture titled "Religions for Peace." In his speech, he explored the critical contributions of various religions to peace efforts worldwide. He advocated for building bridges of understanding and mutual respect between nations and peoples, underlining the shared responsibility to challenge the narratives of civilizational conflicts and hate speech. His Excellency supported his arguments by referencing historical examples, both old and new, to extract valuable lessons and offer practical advice on fostering a more harmonious global community.
