During his visit to Egypt, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, was hosted by the Arab Manuscripts Institute of the League of Arab States. The Institute, located at the League's headquarters in Cairo, welcomed him under the guidance of Dr. Murad Al-Rifi, its Director.
During their in-depth dialogue, Dr. Al-Rifi escorted Dr. Al-Issa on a tour of the institute's historical treasury, enlightening him about various aspects of their work. Dr. Al-Issa commended the President of the Institute for the warm hospitality and the comprehensive information provided about the institute's refined work.
He emphasized the significance of the historical heritage of Arabic manuscripts, especially the rare Islamic documents. He noted the honor of serving these pieces and the immense responsibility undertaken by the Institute in fulfilling its noble tasks. To conclude the meeting, Dr. Al-Rifi presented His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa with the Institute's Award, inscribed with his name.
