Makkah:
The Muslim World League offers its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Syrian and Turkish peoples, and to the families of the victims and injured by the tragic and disastrous earthquake.
This came in a statement by the General Secretariat of the MWL, in which its Secretary General, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, expressed full solidarity with the dear Turkish and Syrian peoples in this tragedy, asking God Almighty to bless the deceased, and grant the injured a prompt recovery.
