The Muslim World League condemns terrorist attack targeting public transportation in Herat, Somalia

The Muslim World League condemns the deadly terrorist attack targeting public transportation in the Herat region of the Republic of Somalia.

His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad AL-Issa reiterated the Muslim World League and the entire Islamic world’s rejection of all forms of extremism, violence and terrorism. Dr. Al-Issa noted the MWL’s extensive efforts to confront and eradicate these brutal ideas and crimes.

On behalf of the MWL’s bodies, councils, and assemblies around the world, Dr. Al-Issa expressed the MWL’s solidarity with Somalia and all of its people in its war against terrorism and sources of instability. Dr. Al-Issa offered his condolences to the victims, government, and people of Somalia asking God Almighty to bless the injured with a quick recovery and to protect the Somalian people from the evil of terrorism.
