The Muslim World League Commends the Efforts of the Kingdom in Serving Pilgrims Without Prejudice.
The Muslim World League commended the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in the service of pilgrims, Umrah and visitors without any prejudice against anyone. The MWL also praised Saudi Arabia's successful completion of arrangements to receive 18,000 pilgrims, and provide them with medical care and needs through the Office of the Syrian Pilgrims Affairs, to perform Hajj this year 1439 H.
In a press statement issued by its General Secretariat in Makkah, the Rabita condemned the misleading allegations of preventing Syrian citizens from performing Hajj and Umrah rites, pointing out that the Rabita, as the Umbrella of Islamic peoples, always receives praise and appreciation from pilgrims from all countries, including the esteemed Syrian people. The Kingdom's efforts are a living and clear proof to serve all those who come to the two Holy Mosques and to provide them with full care. The Rabita highlights further the smooth flow of this support.
This year, the Kingdom is gearing up to receive more than 18.000 Syrian pilgrims; it is the most eloquent reply to those allegations. The Rabita further added that the Kingdom receives millions of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of different sects, races and nationalities coming from more than 80 nationalities. These have never been subjected to discrimination when the time came to providing them with full care and attention.
Therefore, the MWL invites all concerned to cooperate with the competent authorities in the Kingdom by adhering to the rules and regulations implemented to serve the delegations of The Merciful, facilitate their affairs, and to provide them with the best services.
However, attention must be given to the sources which seek to cause confusion and spread lies, hence these practices have become the tools of every ignorant and conniving spiteful to serve their usual and desperate schemes.
The statement concluded by asking God Almighty to bless the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince. May Allah preserve the Kingdom's security and stability and reward amply its rulers for the services they have provided and continue to provide to Islam and Muslims, as well as, for following the path of Islam and its wisdom by standing in the face of the ignorant and the instigators and making the reference in all of this the immense Islamic sentiment that supplicate with utmost devotion for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their continuous care and providing, with honor and pride, comprehensive services to serve Allah's guests.
