The Secretariat General of the Muslim World League has strongly condemned the two terrorist bomb explosions that targeted both St. George Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Tanta, the capital of the Western Egyptian Province and St. Mark's Cathedral in Alexandria Church and Alexandria Mark Church, Arab Republic of Egypt and led to the death and injury of scores of causalities.This was carried out in a statement issued by HE Dr. Mohammad Abdulkarim Alissa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, in which he strongly condemned the bomb explosions and emphasized the stern attitude of the Muslim World League towards such terrorist acts, which are incriminated by Islam and are classified by it as the most heinous crimes against mankind. Likewise, Islam described such acts as desperate attempts that are intended to influence the national emotion and wise human conscience that comprehend that such barbaric attempts will never affect its sublime values that promote harmony, love, cooperation and coexistence.
His Excellency added that the above two extremely painful terrorist explosions have indeed lacked every iota of meaning and values as they targeted with their savagery innocent souls. His Excellency indicated that the very objective of these explosions is to destabilize the security and stability in the Arab Republic of Egypt, destroy ??? the national unity and integrity of the country as well as instigate the sedition ( Fitna) among the various members and sectors of the community. This requires that all the components of the people should cooperate to deprive those terrorists of taking the opportunity and vigorously combat their criminal acts.
In conclusion, His Excellency said," Muslim World League calls at its various regional and international forums to the necessity of enlightening communities on the dangers of terrorism, extremism and deviated thoughts. I convey, in the name of the Muslim World League, my sincere condolences to both the Egyptian Government and the families of the victims, supplicating Allah Almighty to grant the injured speedy recovery "
