The US StateDept Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Deborah Lipstadt State SEAS met at the Muslim World League's office in Riyadh with several MWL leaders to discuss ways to combat extremism and hatred in all forms.
H.E. Dr. Mohammad Alissa receives His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Taha, head of the Iraqi Fiqh Council, praising the impacts of the meeting & cooperation held in Makkah last year between all Iraqi references. Everyone will implement the tasks of the recommended coordination committee.
HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with HE Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. During the meeting they discussed a number of issues of common interest.
HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa welcomed Bisera Tur kovic, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers & Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the MWL. She appreciated Dr. Al-Issa's visit to Srebrenica last year & his role in promoting religious & civil peace.
HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa met with Mr. Philippe Errera, Director General for Political and Security Affairs in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They were joined by French Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ludovic Pouille.

HE Dr. Mohammad Alissa received His Eminence Mahmoud Dicko of Mali at the Muslim World League headquarters. The leaders discussed the importance of strengthening national & religious harmony, and confronting the ideas of extremism.
His Excellency the Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa met in his office in the Governorate of Jeddah, the member of the French Parliament, Mrs. Amelia Lakrafi, where a number of issues of common interest were discussed during the meeting.
At an earlier date, HE Dr. Alissa met the Australian Ambassador to KSA, they discussed the terrorist attacks on the mosques in NewZealand & the importance of working together to promote cooperation amongst different faiths & cultures. He also praised the global efforts of MWL
HE Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Alissa received Mr. James Monroe, New Zealand's Ambassador to KSA who said that the tragedy of the two mosques won't alter NZ's national harmony and its brotherly diversity. Noting the MWL's statement & welcoming its visiting delegation to NewZealand.
