The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomes Saudi Arabia's announcement of the launch of the "International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution." This significant initiative was unveiled on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly high-level week in New York.
In a statement by the MWL's General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, lauded this historic initiative announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, on behalf of Arab and Islamic countries and European partners. His Excellency urged all nations to participate in this initiative, which aims to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that will benefit the region and have a positive global impact.
His Excellency concluded the statement by expressing deep appreciation for the extraordinary efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the historic progress achieved through its active and effective engagement worldwide in garnering international support for the Palestinian cause. May God reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
