The Muslim World League issued its periodic report, including a global map of its initiatives and programs worldwide. This report illustrates the ongoing implementation of programs based on the Charter Of Makkah and the Charter on Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects.
The report details the establishment of the Council of Scholars in ASEAN countries, the Council of Scholars of Africa, and the Councils of Religious Leaders in North and South America and European countries. It also highlights the enhanced role of the Islamic Fiqh Council, which comprises senior Islamic scholars and muftis of the Ummah.
Furthermore, the report provides a detailed account of the tasks required by the MWL to continue promoting the unity of the Islamic Ummah in addressing its common religious issues. This includes efforts to confront Islamophobia campaigns, all forms of desecration toward Islamic sentiments, and the combating of extremist ideas and manifestations, irrespective of their origins and objectives.
Additionally, the report outlines initiatives for open dialogues with major intellectual research and study centers in the East and the West to clarify Islamic perspectives on several critical issues.
