Statement on the Targeting of a Hospital in Gaza

The Muslim World League condemns -in the strongest terms- the Israeli occupation army’s targeting of a hospital in Gaza, resulting in a horrific loss of life.
In a statement of the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this monstrous crime, whose perpetrators are deprived of religious and human values. He called upon the international community to assume its responsibilities towards protecting civilians from these horrific massacres which are a blatant violation of all international laws and customs. This barbarism and absurdity are a threat to the confidence in international order and its cohesion.
In the name of the Muslim World League and its global councils, bodies and assemblies, Dr. Al-Issa expressed complete solidarity with Palestine and its dear people in this great affliction, and in the face of the heinous crimes against the people of Gaza. He also of extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the injured. May Allah have mercy on the deceased, grant their families patience and solace, and the injured a swift recovery.
