Statement of condolences regarding the earthquake that struck Afghanistan
Makkah:
The Muslim World League offers its sincere condolences to the people of Afghanistan for the victims and injured of the earthquake that struck the west of the country this afternoon.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, said: "We followed with great pain the news of the earthquake in Afghanistan, we are deeply saddened by the loss of life it caused”.
On behalf of the Muslim World League, its international councils, bodies, and assemblies, Dr. Al-Issa expressed full solidarity with the people of Afghanistan in this painful event. May Allah have mercy on the deceased, hasten recovery of the injured and protect Afghanistan and its people from all harm.
