Statement regarding the Houthi attack on Bahraini forces stationed in the south of the KSA

Makkah:
The Muslim World League condemns the treacherous attack carried out by Houthi elements, which resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers and the injury of others from the Bahraini duty force participating in Operation Restore Hope within the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen and stationed on the southern border of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement of the General Secretariat, the MWL extends its deepest and sincere condolences to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain and to the families of the martyrs and the injured. May Allah bless them with His mercy, dwell them in Paradise, and grant the injured a prompt recovery.

The MWL warned of the dangers of this barbaric reaction to the efforts being made to end the crisis and reach a political solution that meets the aspirations of the people of Yemen.
