His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Medina Region, Chairman of Medina Region Development Authority, inaugurated the new pavilions of the International Exhibition and Museum of the Biography of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization, at the museum's headquarters, next to the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of International Exhibition and Museum of the Biography of the Prophet.
His Royal Highness the Governor of Medina toured the new sections of the exhibition, including the section on the Prophethood Signs and Miracles, which is a creative scientific encyclopedic work which includes more than 25,000 evidence and miracles of the Prophet, in addition to the new "cinema" section, which offers shows with the latest technologies, and the new creative technology section with its "Immersive Interactive Room", as well as the gift shop, which includes more than 200 creative scientific publications on the Prophet's biography, and the section of greetings to God, the All Mighty, and finally the section on the prophets, peace be upon them, as if you are seeing them.
His Royal Highness also inaugurated the "descriptive" panorama of the Prophet's noble chambers, and his Companions’ houses, in addition to the section of the Prophet's Mosque and pulpit, besides the encyclopedia of chambers, which includes seven original scientific publications.
The inauguration ceremony included the opening of the creative and technical pavilion which represents the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of the Holy Quran, the Sunnah, and the Two Holy Mosques and their guests. It also displays the Kingdom’s international efforts to serve Islam and Muslims, and to spread the true message of Islam that it came as a mercy to the worlds.
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Medina Region for his support for the International Exhibition and Museum of the Biography of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization, which is a distinguished Islamic work in introducing the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) with its Islamic lofty values based on authentic sources to everyone around the world - Muslims and non-Muslims. The project actualizes the true support to our prophet since it is sustainable, i.e., not dependent on temporary events.
Dr. Al-Issa expressed that the MWL is proud of the confidence and support that this Islamic work receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is Islamically highly significant with its great pioneering merit, especially that it the land of the Two Holy Mosques and serves them honorably, let alone that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a rich source of documents related to the most important chapters of the Islamic history.
The International Exhibition and Museum of the Biography of the Prophet and Islamic Civilization, located south of the Prophet’s Mosque, is managed and operated by the Muslim World League with the support and empowerment of the Madinah Region Development Authority. It aims to enrich the experience of visitors and residents by creating an attractive cultural environment that displays the Islamic historical heritage, based on the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) that demonstrate the moderation of Islam.
