Al-Hakam's Library was established by the Umayyad Caliph Al-Hakam II at his palace in Cordoba, Spain. It was the most celebrated library in Muslim Spain wherein massive numbers of Greek and Latin books were translated into Arabic. It contained more than 400,000 books.
