His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, addressed the international community on behalf of Muslim peoples, following his selection by the United Nations General Assembly to deliver their address in person, as the sole representative of Muslim peoples, from its international podium in New York, during the General Assembly’s first-ever commemoration of this International Day.
