The WSCM has an independent legal personality. It aims at reactivating the mission of the Mosque as a vital focal point of the religious as well as the temporal life of the Muslim. It also strives to protect Mosques and Islamic trusts against assault and to maintain the sanctity and purity of the Mosque.

The Supreme Council

The Supreme Council is the supreme authority of the MWL which adopts all plans approved by the General Secretariat of the Rabita.

The Supreme Council of the Muslim World League consists of (60) members: distinguished Islamic figures representing the Muslim peoples and minorities and appointed by the Council decision.

The candidate seeking membership of the Supreme Council is required to be one of the callers to Allah who has a recognized activity in the Islamic work.

The Council meets periodically to take decisions regarding the research and issues submitted by the MWL General Secretariat or by three members of the Council, then decisions are made regarding the course of action for the Rabita's activities to achieve its objectives and provide needed advice, recommendations, and counsel to States and groups to serve Islam and Muslims. 

To work as a member of the Supreme Council is voluntary and its members do not receive a salary or a reward.

The Supreme Council of the Muslim World League is headed by the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh

Islamic Fiqh Council

Islamic Fiqh Council

The Islamic Fiqh Council is an affiliate of the MWL with an independent legal personality. It was founded by a resolution of the Constituent Council in the year 1398H, and is made up of a select group of Muslim jurists and scholars who meet periodically to consider serious issues concerning the Muslim Ummah and issue appropriate rulings based on the texts of the Holy Qur'an and the immaculate Sunnah.

Organization of Muslim Scholars 

It was established in compliance with the resolution of the Fourth General Islamic Conference held in Makkah Al-Mukarramah 1423H so as to unite and clarify the attitudes of Muslim scholars and intellectuals on different causes as well as address newly emerging and unprecedented incidents faced by Muslims.
