Statement on the Bombing of Al-Fakhoura School in Gaza
Makkah:
The Muslim World League condemns in the strongest terms the bombing of the UNRWA Al-Fakhoura school in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation forces.
In a statement by the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced these horrific and ongoing crimes against civilians and civilian facilities. He emphasized that these acts represent a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.
Dr. Al-Issa stressed the urgent need for the international community to respond immediately to this catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories. He called for an end to systematic crimes against innocent civilians and for holding the perpetrators accountable under international law, including the immediate implementation of a ceasefire.
