The Muslim World League condemns the terrible violence committed by a Saudi student at a U.S. naval base in Florida that killed three American citizens and wounded several more. Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, said the League considers what happened a criminal act that merits the most severe penalties under Islamic law. Dr. Al-Issa also attests that such a horrific crime has no place among Muslims and cannot be justified under any legitimate interpretation of Islam.

Dr. Al-Issa expresses his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and wishes all the injured a prompt recovery.
