Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the detainee exchange agreement in Yemen, which was signed in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, praised the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Office of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in reaching this agreement, which contributes to strengthening trust and ending the humanitarian suffering of the detainees and their families.
