Makkah:
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the ongoing storming and violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards by the Israeli authorities under the protection of the occupation forces.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced these dangerous violations that provoke the sentiments of Muslims around the world, as they constitute a grave assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. He further warned against the dangers of Israel’s continued violations of the historical and legal status of the holy sites in Jerusalem.

His Excellency stressed the urgent necessity for the international community to uphold its moral and legal responsibilities toward putting an immediate end to all grave violations committed by the Israeli authorities in the occupied Palestinian territories.
