The Muslim World League: The historic agreement of Jeddah proves that the kingdom with its wise policy is one of the most important pillars for world peace.

The Muslim World League has appreciated the historical efforts undertaken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, with his generous patronage today to sign the Jeddah Peace Agreement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the State of Eritrea. This agreement is another added act to the historic record of initiatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, and Crown prince Mohammad Bin Salman. This accord reflects the Kingdom's presence and its international influence in establishing world peace.
In a statement issued by the Rabita, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Alissa said that this historic agreement translates the great attention given by Saudi Arabia to the issues of world peace and its pivotal and important role in these endeavours. He pointed out that this historic event has great implications on the dimension of the place and size of the attention provided; a further confirmation of the kingdom's constant wise policy as one of the most important pillars of world peace. The presence of Saudi Arabia as a worthy protector mastering all the leadership tools to serve the issues of peace. It has become a living testimony among international symbols in its march of good will and broad horizons to disseminate human harmony alongside its fight against the trends of hatred, hostility and evil; to take the podium of appreciation and the influence worthy of its status in space and the value of its men.
At the end of the statement, His Excellency Dr. Alissa supplicated the Almighty Allah to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque, and his trustworthy Crown Prince for the efforts exerted to serve the Muslim Nation and Humanity towards peace and harmony.
