The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting a bus belonging to the Internal Security Forces in rural Damascus, Syrian Arab Republic.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, reaffirmed the MWL’s firm rejection and condemnation of violence and terrorism in all their forms and under all pretexts. He expressed the MWL’s solidarity and full support for the Syrian government’s efforts to combat extremism and terrorism, and wished the injured a speedy recovery
