Makkah:

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the continued Israeli attacks in the region, most recently the incursion into Syrian territory and the targeting of the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa with artillery fire.

In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced these blatant attacks and the fear and intimidation they have inflicted on civilians, as well as their destabilizing impact on security and stability in the region, amid a troubling pattern of violations of international law and norms.

His Excellency reaffirmed the MWL’s full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic against everything that threatens its security, sovereignty, and territorial unity.
