The Muslim World League supports the “Riyadh Statement” regarding Gaza

The Muslim World League has expressed its support for the Riyadh Statement, which calls for immediate action to implement a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the release of prisoners and hostages.
The MWL affirmed its support for the decisions made at the meeting of the Ministerial Committee, which was convened by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit in collaboration with European foreign ministers and representatives. The meeting, chaired by His Excellency Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his Norwegian counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Espen Barth Eide, underscored the urgent need to end the conflict in Gaza. It highlighted the catastrophic humanitarian crisis, called for an end to violations, and urged advancing toward negotiation-driven resolutions aimed at establishing a Palestinian state within the framework of the two-state solution.
The MWL stressed its support for all efforts directed toward the recognition of the Palestinian state and the comprehensive implementation of all relevant UN resolutions, with the objective of securing a just and enduring peace that restores the rights of the Palestinian people.
