His Excellency Sheikh Dr.Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met earlier today in New Delhi with the President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe.
The meeting discussed several topics including aspects of Islamic values and the role of civilized cooperation between various cultures. Dr. Al-Issa reviewed the MWL global initiative on Building Bridges between East and West, which was launched at the United Nations headquarters in New York with the presence and support of the leaders of the UN, religious and intellectual leaders, and representatives of the UN member states.
